October Sister Mary Joy was invited to attend the Women of the Year Luncheon. The guests at her table included several very prominent women - HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, Jane Luca, Danny Cotton and Sandi Toksvig.

During the award presentations Sandi Toksvig asked her to stand up and to be acknowledged at Britains first female fire fighter.

October Mary Joy Langdon is made a Fellow of Riding for the Disabled. The award was presented by Sophie Christiansen CBE at the RDA Coaching Conference.

Congratulations to Kathy Heaps for recieving the RDA Volunteer Award for the Greater London Region. Kathy has been volunteering for 27 + years and as well as coaching she is the chair of the board of trustees

October Martin Clunes WSPC Patron and Kathy Heaps Chair of WSPC receive a cheque from The Hospital Saturday Fund. Thank you to the SHF for kindly supporting WSPC.

October Nine horse, ponies and riders attended the Civil Service horse show held in Hyde Park. It was a wonderful event and everyone came home with rosettes. Wormwood Scrubs also won the prize for the charity.

September A team of ponies and riders attended the 50th Horseman's Sunday held at St John's church Hyde Park. Mr Ross Nye commenced the event 50 years ago. Congratulations to Mr Nye and all his team. We all had a great day.

September End of holidays and ponies return from their time out at grass on Jane Van Lennep's farm in Suffolk. Thank you Jane for all you do for our ponies.

August A corporate volunteer team through Work4U spent a fund day at the Pony Centre. It is so good when an enthusiastic team come for the day as so much work can be done. Thank you to the team.

AugustLittleman inspects the delivery of a years' supply of Sorbeo horse bedding. Thank you to Sorbeo for kindly donation a pallet. 

August The Marathon Kathy, Melissa and Mary Joy set off to walk a marathon in aid of WSPC.

10 hours later they safely returned home. The marathon raised an incredible £17000. Thank you to all who sponsored the marathon.

The young people vote for their peers who they think has deserved an award. With the award comes some money which they then have to decide on a suitable item for the club to spend the money on.
